Required for lesson plans submitted for publication By submitting an original lesson plan, activity, instructional resource, or related material (“Resource”) to Sunflower Environmental, I represent that I created the Resource or otherwise have the legal authority to grant the permissions described below. I retain ownership of my original Resource. However, I grant Sunflower Environmental a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, format, edit for clarity or accessibility, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and make the Resource available to the public, including through the Sunflower Environmental website and its free STEAM Resource Library. Sunflower Environmental may reformat or make reasonable editorial modifications to submitted Resources for consistency, accessibility, branding, or publication, provided such modifications do not intentionally misrepresent the substance of the original work. When reasonably practicable, Sunflower Environmental will identify the original creator with the published Resource. I understand that Resources made available through the free Resource Library may be downloaded, printed, and used by educators and others for educational purposes without payment to me. I represent that the Resource does not knowingly infringe another person's copyright or intellectual-property rights and that I have obtained any permissions necessary for third-party photographs, illustrations, worksheets, excerpts, or other protected materials included within my submission. I understand that submission does not guarantee publication and that Sunflower Environmental may decline, remove, or discontinue distribution of a Resource at its discretion.
