Federal EPA Registry Update

Sunflower Environmental has taken a small break from the everyday reviews of federal registry updates. In summary over December 2021, and January 2022, the EPA has worked on publishing more updates and finalizing items that have already been out in the registry along with approving state implementation plans, and amending pesiticide and TSCA tolerance limits and approvals. The hot topics to mention are listed below.;

As of February 4, 2022 ;-BP or n-propyl bromide (nPB),[4] CAS #106-94-5 ;will be added to the list of Clean Air Act Section 112 list of Hazardous Air Polluntants.;

As of January 26, 2022 the Safe Drinking Water Act will require collection of data (monitoring) for 29 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and lithium.

As of December 16, 2021 the Lead Copper Rule Revision has been completed and approved by the EPA.;
