Review of National Primary Drinking Water Regulations: Lead adn Cooper Rule Revisions (2021-27457; 86 FR 71574) ;;Federal Register :: Review of the National Primary Drinking Water Regulation: Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR);
Summary: The EPA believes there is significant room for improvement on the Lead and Copper Rule, there will be action taken to improve public health in regards to Lead and Copper. The rule changes are mostly related to replacing all lead pipes based on a percentage per year. THe EPA is considering the following improvements, re-evualuation of action and trigger limits, Tap water sampling improvements and pritoritizing protections for historically disadvantaged communities.;
Effective Date of LCRR was publisehd June 16, 2021, compliance date is October 16, 2024.;
