Comment Period: Comments to NPRM (including request for hearings) must be submitted by April 19, 2021. OSHA is planning an informal public hearing during comment period.;

Summary: OSHA is proposing to update the Hazard Communication Standard to match the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS Revision 7). The proposal includes revisions to criteria of classification of certain health and physical hazards, revisions to label updates and new labeling for small containers, technical content within safety data sheets and revisions to terms and definitions.;
