Congressional Review Act Revocation of Waste Emissions Charge for Natural Gas Systems: Procedures for Facilitating Including Netting and Exemptions

Summary: The 2024 WEC Final Rule implementing compliance with Waste Emission Charge in the Clean Air Act’s Methane Emissions Reduction Program no longer has legal backing. 

Hydroden Fluroide: TSCA Section 21 Petition for Rulemaking Section 6

Summary: This is a notice for the petition provided by the Better Environment, and Natural Resouces Defense Council to eliminate hydrogen fluroide within domesitc oil refining. EPA has denied this TSCA petition. 

L-Arginine in Pesticide Formulations 

Effective Date: May 14, 2025

Summary: This rule provides L-arginine to be exempted from the residue toelernace levels when used as an inert ingredient on greenhouse pre-bloom cucumbers at the maximum concentrations of <1%.

Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluororalky Substances Data Recording and Recordkeeping Under TSCA to Change Submission Period

Effective Date: Interium rule is on May 13, 2025; comments to be recieved before June 12, 2025

Summary: The data submission period will be moved to April 13, 2026 and end October 13, 2026. There will be an alternate date of submission for small manufacturers and article importers of April 13, 2027.
